How are you living your lockdown?
It’s been almost two months since we’re in lockdown. Luckily enough I was able to take it very positively, didn’t have any days feeling down or depressed. I was working constantly as if the next day we will be back to normal life, so I kept myself busy and ready to get back to normal. Did a lot of reading, watched many Netflix series I always wanted to watch, worked out more than I did my entire life, organized my room, closets, folders... so let’s say it was one very long Sunday!
From your active life, what do you miss the most?
What I miss most is the rush of work, meetings, traveling(I miss it most), not having that daily anxiety if you have fever or not, if you’re coughing or not. Not able to touch your face turned out to be harder than we thought.
What don't you miss?
What I don’t miss is the traffic, over stressing about full schedule, and going back to deal with the economic crisis we will have to deal with in Lebanon after this is over. Harder times are coming!
How do you think life will be after Corona?
A lot will change after corona, it already did. We will learn to slow down a bit, appreciate little moments and things we took for granted. People will be more conscious of what and how to consume. And I guess we already know that Mother Earth can get really angry. We should consider that seriously.
A word of encouragement to our readers
We can always start over. We are born with a great ability to adapt. So, let’s stay positive and get things back on track.
