ART DISTRICT CELEBRATES ITS 5TH YEAR WITH HOMAGE TO THE ART OF PHOTOGRAPHY

5th Edition of “Open Call” for Emerging Lebanese Photographers

In support of Lebanese artistic photography, ART DISTRICT Gallery is launching the 5th edition of its “Open Call for Lebanese Photographers.”

For the fifth consecutive year, this initiative aims to recognize the talent of emerging photographers, including non-professionals, while encouraging them in their artistic journey and supporting the next generation of visual artists.

Maher Attar, founder of ART DISTRICT and a photographer himself, strongly supports this initiative as part of his ongoing commitment to promoting Lebanese photography and giving visibility to emerging talents.

From May 14th until June 13th, 2026, applications will be accepted from photographers across Lebanon.

Selection Process

A pre-selection of artists will be carried out, from which 8 to 10 candidates will be chosen for this fifth edition of promising talents. The selection will reflect richness, diversity, and artistic excellence.

Exhibition

For 4 weeks, from August 5th to August 29th, 2026, ART DISTRICT will exhibit the works of the selected candidates. Their artworks will also be offered for sale, helping support and encourage these artists to continue pursuing their creative paths.

In your email, please include:

• Your full name

• Your contact details

• Up to 10 images of your work in JPG format

• Work in any photographic medium is accepted except smartphone photography

If selected, further information will be requested as necessary.

Selection Criteria

• Your work will be presented anonymously to the organizers

• Selection will be based entirely on the quality of your work

Participation Fee

The participation fee is $650, which includes:

• Printing and framing of up to 4 images maximum per candidate

• Assistance throughout the process

• Installation and hanging of the artworks

• Opening cocktail reception

• Social media and press coverage

All artwork sales will go 100% to the photographers.
ART DISTRICT Gallery will take no commission on sales.
