Mashy Online is a fragmented theatrical work moving between past, present, and imagined futures, reflecting the cyclical nature of conflict in Lebanon.
At its center is a man who can no longer remember the event that shattered his life. With no images, no proof, and no stable narrative, he struggles to reconstruct his identity in a reality shaped by contradiction and uncertainty. As his memory begins to fracture, his only connection to the world becomes a distant woman he meets online, his last thread to meaning.
Blending realism and abstraction, the play unfolds within a suspended sense of time, exploring trauma not as an isolated event, but as a continuous psychological condition. It weaves together themes of war, memory, division, love, and the fragility of human connection.
