In a country where the fight for truth and freedom often unfolds in silence and shadows, the lenses of photojournalists have never looked away.

As part of its ongoing commitment to defending press freedom and freedom of expression, the Samir Kassir Foundation, with support from the Norwegian Ministry of Foreign Affairs, is organizing a powerful national exhibition: “20 Years for Freedom”, at Art on 56th in Beirut.

Running from August 28 to September 6, 2025, the exhibition commemorates two decades since the assassination of Samir Kassir by honoring the photojournalists whose unwavering dedication has documented Lebanon’s struggles, hopes, and defining moments since 2005.
