Art21/08/2025 de 12:00 à 21:00
In celebration of its milestone anniversary Sfeir-Semler Gallery is proud to present a program of exhibitions and events in Beirut.
Founded by Andrée Sfeir-Semler in 1985, in Kiel, Germany, Sfeir-Semler Gallery moved to its current location in Hamburg in 1998 and opened its first space in Beirut in 2005.
Today, with two spaces in Beirut, Lebanon, and two spaces in Hamburg, Germany, the gallery specializes in international contemporary art with a particular focus on the Arab world. Since the early 2000s, it has occupied a critical position within the global contemporary art landscape through its rigorous program, fostering dialogues between Middle Eastern and Western contemporary practices. Over the past decades, Sfeir-Semler Gallery has played a crucial role in bringing international recognition to some of the most influential voices in contemporary art from the Arab world.
